Gift vouchers: give someone a meal at your restaurant

A good meal is a personal gift. Gift vouchers can introduce new guests to your restaurant; a remaining balance invites another visit.

Already included in Pronto. Available with Classico too.

Gift vouchers for your direct orders

With gift vouchers, your guests give someone a visit to your restaurant: for a birthday, as a thank-you or for a meal together. The voucher has a fixed monetary value and can be redeemed in parts, with the remaining balance retained — already with Pronto.

From a gift to a restaurant visit

A regular guest gives your restaurant as a gift

Example: a guest gives a €25 gift voucher as a birthday present.

The recipient has a clear reason to try your food and can choose their own dishes.

The voucher value need not limit the selection

Calculation example: a guest orders €32 of food, redeems a €25 gift voucher and pays the remaining €7 separately.

The voucher contributes towards the order. Guests can choose additional dishes even if the order subtotal exceeds the voucher value.

Use the remaining balance for the next meal

Calculation example: €25 voucher value, €18 redeemed, €7 balance remaining.

Partial redemption makes the gift flexible; the remaining balance stays available for another redemption.

Redeem gift vouchers in parts

A clear monetary value, an individual voucher code and a QR code: the guest receives a voucher for your restaurant. The available balance is checked on redemption.

Spend €18 and keep €7 of a €25 voucher for later? Gift vouchers can be redeemed in parts. If the order exceeds the voucher value, the guest pays the difference separately.

Reach new guests through a gift

Guests who enjoy your food can share that experience with a gift voucher. The recipient has a clear reason to try your restaurant. It might be a birthday present, an invitation to dinner or a thank-you. You make your restaurant appealing to people who may not have ordered from you before.

  • Offer a restaurant visit rather than an ordinary gift
  • State the gift’s monetary value clearly
  • Let the recipient choose their food

A monetary value leaves the choice open

A €25 gift voucher, for example, is not tied to a single dish. The recipient chooses the food they would like from your range. The amount makes the gift tangible while keeping the choice open. It suits guests whose favourite dish the giver does not yet know.

A remaining balance gives guests a reason to return

A voucher does not have to be used up in a single order. Partial redemption is possible, and the remaining balance is checked when it is redeemed. In a calculation example, redeeming €18 from €25 leaves €7. That balance remains available for another visit.

A gift serves a different purpose from a discount

A discount code offers a saving to encourage an order. A gift voucher represents a monetary amount already provided for the guest to spend on your food. Both options are already included in Pronto. You can offer a gift or advertise a discount promotion to suit the occasion. Online payments for orders remain an additional Classico feature.

Included in the Pronto plan

With Pronto, guests pay on collection or delivery. Classico adds online payments, your own domain and ordering directly at the table.

Frequently asked questions: Gift vouchers

Are gift vouchers already included in Pronto?

Yes. With Pronto, you can create and manage gift vouchers with a stated monetary value. Classico includes this feature too.

How is a gift voucher different from a discount code?

A gift voucher represents a specific monetary amount and can be given as a gift. A discount code provides a saving on an order. Ordentino offers both features.

Can a gift voucher be redeemed in parts?

Yes. Partial redemption is possible. The remaining balance is checked when the voucher is redeemed and can be used for a later redemption. Guests can use the voucher across your range rather than being restricted to a particular dish.

Do I have to offer online payments?

Creating and managing gift vouchers is already included in Pronto. Online payments for orders are an additional Classico feature.

Do I have to enter my menu myself?

Send us your existing menu as a PDF, photo or link. We handle the initial setup for you. You check and approve all information before activation. Afterwards, you can change dishes, prices, pictures and settings yourself at any time.

When do the 30 free days begin?

Try Pronto or Classico for 30 calendar days with real orders in your restaurant. The period starts only when your public ordering page is actually activated. Sending an enquiry, creating an account and setting up the menu do not start the clock. No paid subscription begins afterwards without your express consent.

What happens after the 30 days?

You decide whether to continue with a paid Ordentino plan. No paid subscription begins without your express consent. There is no obligation to book a paid period after the trial.

Do I get links for Google and Instagram?

We provide links for the menu and collection in your Google Business Profile, delivery if you offer it, and your Instagram profile. You publish the links as the profile owner; we help you use them.

Do I get a QR code for my flyers?

You receive a ready-to-use QR code for your ordering page, for flyers, packaging or the counter. This promotional QR code is included in both plans. QR codes for ordering at individual tables are a separate Classico feature.

Is the initial menu setup free?

Yes. Initial menu setup is included in Pronto and Classico without an additional setup fee. You provide your existing information and check the result before publication. Your restaurant remains responsible for the accuracy of the information.
